Benching Jay Cutler - Bears Fans are Insane

I'm a Bears fan and I've watched in disbelief over the past few years as former fans have called for the heads of Lovie Smith, Brian Urlacher and Devin Hester. Lovie Smith has the 3rd best record of any coach in Bears history, and his last season with the Bears was 10 and 6, missing the playoffs by a hair. Yet, despite those of us who objected, Lovie was fired, Hester was traded and "Coach Urlacher" was offered an offensively bad contract after a solid season. As a result, the Bears went 8 and 8 in 2013 and are currently holding a 5 and 9 record.
Yet rather than realizing these mistakes, Bears fans are at it again, blaming a losing season squarely on the shoulders of Jay Cutler, despite the fact that he's broken most Bears quarterback records and has won far more games than he's lost. Sure, Cutler has issues with consistency. But it is apparent to me that the Bears have problems in every aspect of the game, starting with a broken defense, a confused head coach and a shaky offensive line. But when Bears fans are in "mob mode", it's hard stopping them, even if the solution is irrational. Just ask Mike Ditka...
